The NTPS CSET Program is designed to improve education, training, and safety for potential commercial spaceflight participants. The five level program is designed to introduce and expose a student to a portion of the physiological, emotional, and psychological environment that they may encounter during their commercial spaceflight. By approaching this environment in a gradual build-up manner, the NTPS trained commercial spaceflight participant can prepare for their commercial spaceflight from a better educated, better trained, better informed, and potentially safer perspective. All NTPS CSET training is conducted by NTPS Test Pilot and Flight Test Engineer Instructors who have significant flight test and instructing experience. The majority of the training is designed to be able to be taught to either groups or individuals depending on time and cost constraints. Once a level has been completed, the student has the option to progress to the next level or repeat the current level if they or NTPS feel that additional training is required.  The program is designed to be started at Level 1 and completed in order. Starting at other than Level 1 requires a waiver based on significant experience. After the successful completion of each level the student will receive a certificate to document the training received.  Additionally a CSET graduate may come back and repeat any successfully completed level as refresher training if desired.
