Upset Recognition and Recovery Training Course

Course Description

This 2 day course familiarizes the pilot with how to recognize, what to expect, and how to recover from aircraft upset conditions. It is well suited to those who have not flown in an aircraft that is cleared for inverted flight or that can depart controlled flight.

The training typically consists of 3 hours of classroom instruction, one hour of ejection seat familiarization, and one flight in the Aermacchi MB 326 "Impala" aircraft assuming the student is a US Person or is covered by a Technical Assitance Agreement (TAA) with NTPS. The course can be completed in one day, however we prefer to give the academics and ejection seat training one afternoon followed by the flight the next morning.

Non-US Persons not covered by a TAA with NTPS can completed the Upset Training in a Sabreliner Business Jet.
